Charizard (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

[[Ash Ketchum]] has a {{AP|Charizard}} that he obtained as a Charmander in ''[[EP011|Charmander – The Stray Pokémon]]''. It evolved into {{p|Charmeleon}} in ''[[EP043|March of the Exeggutor Squad]]'' and quickly evolved again into Charizard in ''[[EP046|Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon]]'', where Charizard saved Ash from the claws of an {{p|Aerodactyl}}. From the time of its becoming Charmeleon to the [[Orange Archipelago|Orange Islands]] episode ''[[EP105|Charizard Chills]]'', Charizard refused to obey Ash and was a burden which Ash still cared for. After ''Charizard Chills'', however, it became one of Ash's strongest Pokémon, perhaps even stronger than {{AP|Pikachu}}. Ash left Charizard in the [[Charicific Valley]] with {{jo|Liza}} in ''[[EP134|Charizard's Burning Ambition]]''. It has returned to visit and battle for him on several occasions since then.

Liza of the Characific Valley owns her own Charizard, called Charla. It has a romantic relationship with Ash's Charizard.
