Bulbapedia:James/Gardenia poll

This is a petition to see whether Cacnea's article should be returned to James's Cacnea or if it should stay Gardenia's Cacnea.

Reason to keep it as James

• We don't call these Benny's Lickitung, Susie's Vulpix, and Anthony's Primeape.
• James and Cacnea have been together for a long time - Cacnea's time on the show was spent as James's Pokémon regardless of the circumstances of it leaving.
• Gardenia is probably never going to return after Cacnea is given to her.
• James only gave his Poké Ball to Gardenia. He did not release it the same way Paul releases his Pokémon. It could be possible that Cacnea is in a training session much like Ash's Charizard and Squirtle.

Reasons to keep it as Gardenia

• Sabrina's Haunter, Casey's Beedrill, and Ash's Chimchar.
• James no longer has a Cacnea; Gardenia does.
