Release information
This card was first printed in the Boundaries Crossed expansion, originating from the Japanese Cold Flare expansion, with artwork by Satoshi Shirai. It was reprinted in the Plasma Storm expansion with different artwork by Ayaka Yoshida as an Ultra-Rare Secret card. It received new artwork by Satoshi Shirai when released in the Plasma Blast expansion, originating from the Japanese Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck. The Boundaries Crossed and Plasma Blast prints were both available as Non Holofoil variants in Theme Decks accompanying their respective expansions. The Non Holofoil Boundaries Crossed print was included in the Ice Shock Theme Deck, while the Non Holofoil Plasma Blast print was included in the Solar Strike Theme Deck. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Plasma Blast print was included in Two Pack Template:Merch, released on February 5, 2014.
