Belue Berries cannot be used directly and only have a use as an ingredient, such as for Pokéblocks and Poffins.

The Belue Berry is available in Pokémon Sleep as one of the Berries that can be gathered by helper Pokémon and fed to Snorlax.

Effect

Belue Berries raise Snorlax's Strength, doubling the effect if the Berry is Snorlax's favorite. The base amount of Strength raised by the Berry is determined by the level of the helper Pokémon that gathered it.

Acquisition

Belue Berries can be gathered by Steel-type helper Pokémon in the player's team. Like all Berries in the game, gathered Belue Berries do not go into the player's inventory and instead are immediately eaten by Snorlax.

Belue Berries appeared in A Team-on-Team Tussle!.

In Acting True to Form!, a Belue Berry was seen in the pile of Berries in Bewear's den.

In A Recipe for Success!, Mallow realized that a group of Fearow liked a Belue Berry whilst helping out at Oranguru's place. Afterwards, Mallow prepared them a meal of Belue and Durin Berries.

In Lucky Lucario II, Belue Berries were seen amongst the Berries that Diamond used while making food for himself, his Pokémon, and Riley while training at Iron Island. Tru used Razor Leaf to cut them into small pieces, after which Lax dumped the pieces into a pot.

Trivia

  • At a size of 11.8 inches (30.0 cm), it is the largest Berry the player can obtain.
    • However, while Watmel Berries are listed as 9.8" (25.0 cm) on their tags, the Watmel Berry tag descriptions mention that some have been found to grow to 20" (50 cm).
