The Battle Frontier is a new area introduced in Pokémon Platinum, yet to be released. This is the second Battle Frontier made in the Pokémon world, the other being in Hoenn. The Battle Frontier is located in Sinnoh replacing the Battle Park from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Nothing is known about the other venues in the Battle Frontier, but it is confirmed to have the Battle Tower returning from Diamond and Pearl, much as was the case with the one in Hoenn.
Battle Points will be rewarded to the player for completing venues. There will be a new market area for the player to buy goods in exchange for Battle Points.
The other venues known include a castle, a palace, a temple, a circus-like tent, and a stadium. the tent shal most likely be for contests
