Barboach (Japanese: ドジョッチ Dojoach; German: Schmerbe; French: Barloche) is a Water/Ground-type Pokémon.
Name origin
The English 'Barboach' is a combination of the words barb referring to the barbels around this Pokémon's mouth and loach referring to the species of fish similar to the catfish that this Pokémon is based on.
The Japanese 'dojoach' is a combination of the Japanese dojou meaning 'loach' and the English 'loach' - another reference to the species of fish this Pokémon is based on.
