(this is a pun on the Japanese word for being "in the shadows, or simply, unknowledgeable, and how its sounds similar to Drilbur's Japanese name,Mogurew).The boys ask why Ash, Iris and, Cilan aren't laughing, and they assume their gag was too perfect, so it was too funny.
