However, [[Brycen]] and his {{p|Beartic}} stop them from crashing down on them. Brycen introduces himself to Ash. Ash introduces himself and is psyched to meet Brycen and says he can't wait to have a gym battle. Iris on the other hand, is frightened of Brycen's [[Ice (type)|Ice-type]] Pokémon, Beartic.
