Iris begs the stationary Doryuzu to help Kibago. After not receiving any kind of a response, she decides to help Kibago herself. Ash has Pikachu and {{TP|Ash|Pokabu}} weaken the Pendra giving Dent's Yanappu time to charge a SolarBeam to stop the Pendra it its tracks. From above, Iris then swings on a vine over its head grabbing Kibago's leg and pulling it to safety. The celebration of Kibago's rescue is short lived as Pendra then turns to Iris and ready to attack, when it accidentally knocks Doryuzu into a boulder. Agitated, Doryuzu {{m|Dig|burrows underground}} and comes up hitting Pendra in the face. Pendra fires toxins at Doryuzu who simply slaps it away, Dent noting that being part {{Type|Steel}}, Doryuzu isn't affected by {{Type|Poison}} attacks. Doryuzu then uses {{m|Drill Liner}} before tossing Pendra across the forest as it charges a counter-attack. Doryuzu celebrates the victory as Iris thanks it for helping, which it scoffs at as it returns to its remote drill-like state.
