This room is so large it is recommend to STOCK UP on Max Repels to make this room a little less annoying. It is also highly recommended to take down the trainers in this room as long as you have Buck, since their Pokémon in level are in the late 50-early 60 range. With some of their teams well-balanced, having Buck and his ability to heal your team after battles is really handy. Just remember some items are inaccessible right now since you can't use Rock Climb as long as Buck is with you.

To make it easier to find the exit, head right until you see the path go upwards and keep going straight until you reach a dead end. Go down the nearby stairs and follow the path west, smashing a rock on the way and continue until you climb some stairs and you see two trainers around it. Head left and follow the path to the northwestern part of the room and following the both go down some nearby stairs and move the movable boulder and once you are done you are at the exit. Once there Buck recognizes Team Galactic is inside and heads in.

When you arrive you will see Buck and Barry right by the house that was locked up earlier. This house is Bucks which is the Battlefield that will allow you to not only re-challenge the Sinnoh Gym Leaders, but also all four of your tag battle partners. Talk to Buck's grandfather who will tell you the legend about Stark Mountain. This is important to do or Heatran will not appear when you go back to Stark Mountain. Barry will also remain there and on weekends you can re-challenge him to a battle once a day.

Just remember after 10 battles, Barry's team will go up by 10 levels and then by 20 levels after 20 battles. Each time the amount of money you receive is also increased when Barry's team is upgraded.

Now that you are traveling by yourself in the large room you can use Rock Climb to easily navigate through the large room. Return to Heatran's room and challenge it so you can catch it.

For this route there is a constant {{m|Sandstorm}} problem to deal with which causes minor damages, except for those for the {{t|Rock}}, {{t|Ground}}, and {{type|Steel}}s as well as Pokémon with special abilities like {{a|Sand Veil}}, {{a|Magic Guard}} and {{a|Cloud Nine}}. Anyway you will need both your Bicycle and Rock Smash for this area. The nearby cave is the entrance to the [[Rock Peak Ruins]] if you have an {{pkmn2|event}} {{p|Regigigas}} in your party which is where you will find {{p|Regirock}}. If not it is an ordinary cave where you will find a Hard Stone.
This route can be a bit of a maze so watch the area you travel up with your bike through both the dirt mounds and small bridges, to get to the berry patch and the items. For a shortcut out of this route, from the area where you started, head for the northern area and follow the path with your bike and you'll only have to deal with a few trainers and Rock Smash boulders.
===Move Tutor===
The northern house on this route belongs to the move tutor. He can teach to the final forms of any of the starter Pokémon as long as their happiness factor is maxed out. The moves he passes down are {{m|Frenzy Plant}} for the {{t|Grass}} starters, {{m|Blast Burn}} for the {{t|Fire}} starters, and {{m|Hydro Cannon}} for the {{t|Water}} starters.
