Go down the stairs and around the path past the Scientist and the two Rangers. Head up another set of stairs to grab 62 across the narrow bridge. Go north on the wide bridge, Cut your way through some bushes, and collect all the items hidden on the four hills connected by the three narrow log bridges. East of the wide bridge is the house of one of the three Move Tutors who offers to tutor moves in exchange for shards.

Trek through the three large sections of mud, using your Dowsing Machine to find a number of items hidden in the mud along the way. Make a detour to the north underneath the first narrow wooden bridge to collect the item at the end of this dead end path,
then cut your way through the small trees you just passed and use your bicycle to cross the bridge. Battle your way past the two trainers and find a Zinc where the path ends in a ledge. Make another detour into the muddy area north of the signpost to find a Dawn Stone hidden in the mud, then continue west.

Unless another player can trade you a Manaphy, you need to visit 212 in order to obtain the National Pokédex. After leaving Hearthome City, head south to the entrance of the Pokémon Mansion. Once you're done visiting the mansion, cut your way through to find a path leading to 11. Follow the shoreline of the pond next to the grass to reach the other half of this route.

The Pokémon Mansion is owned by Mr. Backlot. It is also the home of the famous Trophy Garden, which is located at its rear. It has four rooms, the most important of them being Mr. Backlot's office, which is where a Pokémon statue guarded by a policeman is located. The guard is on break from 2 A.M. until 6 A.M., leaving you free to touch the statue and get your fingerprints all over it. Manaphy's data can be recorded (as a seen Pokémon) from the book lying on Mr. Backlot's desk, and it must be done in order to get the National Pokédex. Other rooms in the mansion have beds, which you can used to rest yourself along with your Pokémon. In the west wing, you may fight the maids in the 5-Maid Knockout Exact-Turn Attack Challenge, in which five maids must be beaten in a certain number of total turns (no more, no less). The prize for beating the challenge is a duel with either Lady Celeste or Rich Boy Liam, depending on how many turns you were told to beat the maids in.
The western and eastern exits of the mansion are blocked by the maids. Neither of these doorways are functional however, and for your purposes serve only as decoration.
Chasing a Grunt
Route 213
Head through 213 (you'll encounter Looker there), chasing the Grunt east towards Valor Lakefront.

After talking to the man in the hotel lobby and healing up, chase the Grunt all the way to the Valor Lakefront, where he'll finally give up and you can challenge him to a battle near the entrance of Lake Valor. After defeating the Grunt, you will meet Cynthia and your rival again. He briefly interrupts her to report that the damage to the Great Marsh is not as serious as expected, and Cynthia states that she is worried about the group of Psyduck on 210. She gives you SecretPotion to cure them of their headaches, and will then tell you the legend about a Azelf that lives inside the lake.

After the battle, Cyrus will disappear in a flash and you'll be rewarded 03 by Cynthia's grandmother. Once you leave the ruins, you'll meet up with Cynthia, who heard what happened and now understands that Team Galactic is more dangerous than she initially thought. She'll mention there is a library in Canalave City with books detailing Sinnoh's history, west of Jubilife City. Since it is the location of your next Gym Battle, you will need to head there eventually.

Starting from the bridge near the entrance to 205's south half, Surf on the river northwest and eventually you'll reach Fuego Ironworks. Get off at the northern bank of the river. It's worth noting that outside of the Ironworks, you can find wild Magnemite.
Inside Fuego Ironworks your objective is getting to the boiler in the center, where the owner Mr. Fuego is. You will need to use the spin tiles to reach him. First head into the direction of the southeastern corner of the Ironworks at your own pace, but avoid the tile near Mr. Fuego as that one will take you through another tile that will cause you to start over. After accessing the (↓) tile in the southeastern area you will see three (←) in a line that lead to a larger patch of tiles. The northernmost (←) is the correct one to use and will get you to the area just to the right of the entrance to the boiler place.
Stars for Shards
Mr. Fuego will give you a Star Piece when you first meet him. From now on, you can trade a Star Piece for one of all four different-colored Shards.

On 213, use Surf south of Dr. Footstep's house and follow the rock wall eastward. Eventually, you will find a narrow passage to a patch of sea that contains most of the trainers and a few items. South of that is another passage leading to Swimmer Shetlin, a Big Pearl, and a Max Revive. Whenever you visit a small island, be sure to use the Dowsing Machine on your Pokétch to find more items.

Fly to Sandgem Town and use the south exit to reach 219. It is the first of a chain of routes that you can use to reach Sinnoh's Pal Park. The Pal Park will be inaccessible until you have the National Pokédex, but the training you'll get on the way there is valuable, and the Pal Park can be flown to after you visit it once. You'll want to bring Grass- and/or Electric-types for the trip since the Trainers on the upcoming Routes use mostly Waters.

Though not as simple as Route 219, 220 is pretty straightforward. Head down the eastern side when the route forks in two, fight the Swimmer there, then backtrack and head down the western fork. A little further on, the way forward forks in two again, this time around a largish island. Grab the Max Repel just north of it, then head down the southern fork until you reach the island with the submerged shoreline. Continue east past the Carbos, making a quick detour into route 221 to fight the female Swimmer, then backtrack and head north where the Carbos is, head west briefly to fight the male Swimmer, then go east to 221.
