Amnesia (Japanese: ドわすれ Memory Lapse) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Generation I

Amnesia increases the user's Special by two stages.

Generation II and on

Raises the user's Special Defense two stages instead.

The user's Defense rises.

Description

Games Description
Sharply raises the user's Special stat. Also increases protection against special attacks.
A move that increases the user's Spcl.Def. stat. It is normally used up to three times.
Sharply raises the user's Spcl.Def.
RSEFRLG Forgets about something and sharply raises Sp. Def.
The user temporarily empties its mind to forget its concerns. It sharply raises the user's Sp. Def stat.
