Akane is a character in the manga series How I Became a Pokémon Card. Ahe first appeared in Akane-Colored Eevee. Akane is a little girl who was raised by her grandfather after her parents died after her birth. She loves flowers a lot and even though she owns an Eevee she really hates Pokémon. She later on learns, after losing the Eevee to Team Rocket, that when she was little she used love Pokémon and was given an Eevee that she was named after. After saving her Eevee, she starts to love Pokémon again.
