Pokémon Shipwreck (Japanese: ポケモンひょうりゅうき Pokémon Adrift) is the 16th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on July 15, 1997 and in the United States on September 29, 1998.

Ash, Brock, Misty, Jessie and James are stuck in the Saint Anne at the bottom of the ocean. Will they be able to escape before it is too late?

Synopsis

In the last episode, Ash and his friends had foiled Team Rocket's sinister plan to steal the Pokémon from all the trainers on the St. Anne. However, soon after this, the cruise liner started sinking, with Ash and his friends and Jessie, James and Meowth still onboard.

Errors

• Bulbasaur shouldn't be able to support Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu's weight at the same time.
• If you listen really closely when Ash and Co. as well as TR are being sucked into the cyclone, you can hear Meowth's Japanese voice.
