Bombirdier (Japanese: オトシドリ Otoshidori) is a dual-type Flying/Dark Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.

Biology

Trivia

Origin

Bombirdier may be based on a white stork. In European folklore, white storks are believed to be responsible for delivering babies to new parents by dropping them down chimneys; Bombirdier's design seems to play with this by having it drop heavy objects instead.

Name origin

Bombirdier may derive from bombardier and bird.
