Breeding movepool in ORAS

I just wanted to point something out that I've found in my game. Lotad's breeding movepool section claims it only learns Teeter Dance by chain breeding through Cacnea. However, I just bred a Lombre with a Marshtomp (neither of which knew Teeter Dance) in ORAS, and the offspring's moveset is as follows: Astonish, Growl, Water Gun (from Marshtomp) and Teeter Dance. Am I missing something, or is the page in need of an update? I have no clue where he got Teeter Dance from. SomnoticAgama (talk) 08:33, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

The most likely explanation is that the Lombre knew Teeter Dance when it was placed in Day Care, but due to leveling up in Day Care it had forgotten the move by the time you withdrew it. In ORAS, Pokémon encountered as hidden Pokémon (i.e. when they appear as silhouettes appendages in the overworld) can have a random Egg Move, so if you caught the Lobre that way, it could know Teeter Dance without ever chain breeding. --SnorlaxMonster 11:45, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
Oh yes, that'll be it. SomnoticAgama (talk) 12:48, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
