Sing (Japanese: うたう Sing) is a very inaccurate non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Sing puts the opponent to sleep. It will not affect an opponent that already has a major status ailment. In Stadium, Sing can't affect an opponent that has a substitute.

A soft song that makes Pokémon and humans fall asleep. The melody is famous as Jigglypuff's song.

- Used by a wild Jigglypuff as a running gag throughout the series.
Swablu. The melody is accompany with semi-transparent and circular sound waves.
- Used by a wild Swablu in True Blue Swablu to protect itself from May when it was injured.
