Volcanion (Japanese: ボルケニオン Volcanion) is a dual-type Water/Fire Legendary Pokémon.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Volcanion has yet to be officially revealed by Nintendo.
Trivia
- No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Volcanion.
Origin
Volcanion appears to be based on the Ryukyuan シーサー shisa, or 狛犬 komainu, mythical creatures inspired by lions, tigers, and dogs. Statues of them in pairs are used as guardians that invite good spirits and repel evil ones. Its mechanical appearance may also draw inspiration from tanks.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Hoopa has yet to be officially revealed or acknowledged by Nintendo.

- Because of its typing, Hoopa is the only Pokémon with a 4x Ghost weakness.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
It is a member of the eon duo of Hoenn along with Latios.
Latias can Mega Evolve into Mega Latias using the Latiasite. Mega Latias and its respective Mega Stone have not yet been officially revealed by Nintendo.
