In the Pokémon Dream World, players may purchase Décor (Japanese: インテリアInterior) to decorate their home there. The furniture are only for aesthetics; they serve no other function in the Dream World. Players purchase furniture from catalogs, of which more than one are available, and these are accessed from the Dream Catalogue. Additional catalogues may be provided by promotions. Décor may be added to catalogues already unlocked, as is the case with the Porygon2 Doll.
Upon first accessing the Dream World, players gain access to the Plain Catalogue, which they can use to buy pieces of furniture. The Treasure Chest, Friend Board, Cozy Cottage, Watering Can, and Share Shelf are already unlocked upon arrival. Other items, such as the Design Table, cannot be bought but are unlocked by talking to Loblolly in Nacrene City. Players may choose one of the five items each day. This is the only catalogue accessible for non-Japanese players.
The Pokémon Center catalogue was made available from December 24, 2010 to January 11, 2011 by simply accessing the Pokémon Global Link. This catalog contains things that can be found in actual Japanese Pokémon Center stores. Unlike most other things unlocked on Global Link, this catalogue merely requires players to click on it; no password is needed. After unlocking the catalogue within the limited dates, players may "purchase" the Décor anytime they desire.
