Skiploom (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Skiploom's name is a combination of ''skip'' and ''bloom''. It could also be a play on the children's song {{wp|Skip to My Lou}}, with an "m" added to the end, implying "bloom", referring to the flower on top of Skiploom's head. It also may be based on the phrase "hop, skip, and jump". The name may also come from ''loom'', where fruit grows. Its Japanese name is based on 蒲公英 ''tanpopo'', {{wp|dandelion}} and 根っ子 ''nekko'', root.
