 Ash's Charizard seems unafraid of the [[pseudo-legendary]] [[Dragon Pokémon]]. Charizard quickly uses a {{m|Flamethrower}} but Dragonite counters with {{m|Water Gun}}, dousing the flames and badly weakening Charizard.

Dragonite then uses {{m|Slam}} and Charizard is sent crashing into the ground. Luckily it just survives the move and stands up, facing Dragonite dead on. Ash commands Charizard to use {{m|Dragon Rage}}, and Drake commands his to do the same. Both attacks collide, and the two Pokémon are sent flying back. While Dragonite is left fazed, it's too much for Charizard and it faints. Ash recalls Charizard, thanking it for wearing Dragonite down.

Squirtle uses a Hydro Pump followed by a {{m|Bubble}} attack, hurting Dragonite. Drake, undaunted, orders Dragonite to use {{m|Thunder}}. This stuns Squirtle long enough for Dragonite to {{m|Tail Whip|smash it with its tail}}, knocking it out.

 Out of nowhere, [[Team Rocket]] appears in their [[Transportation in Pokémon|balloon]] and tosses a net at Drake's Dragonite, trapping the dragon! After Team Rocket says their [[Team Rocket's mottos|motto]], Drake grows furious with Team Rocket interrupting the match and commands Dragonite to send the bad guys blasting off again.

Tauros is still tired from it's fight with Venusaur but it ready to battle. Drake commands a Fly, followed by a Body Slam. Ash tells Tauros to take the hit, surprising Drake. The Body Slam hits, but doesn't have the intended effect. Using the sand on the battlefield to absorb the impact, Tauros has caught Dragonite in it's horns. Tauros then throws Dragonite hard into the ground. Dragonite gets up and hits Tauros with with a {{m|Thunder}}, knocking the exhausted Pokémon out.
 Pikachu is Ash's last chance. The electric mouse hops into the stage ready to fight! Dragonite stares down Pikachu, unafraid but panting heavily (it is obviously worn down from defeating the rest of Ash's [[team]]). Pikachu starts things off with an {{m|Agility}}, but is knocked into the air by Dragonite. Dragonite gets ready to use {{m|Hyper Beam}}, but Pikachu uses its tail to dodge the attack! After Pikachu lands on Dragonite's head, Ash tells Pikachu to use Thunder and Pikachu does so. Dragonite and Pikachu are exhausted after the battle, and after a staring contest, Drake's Dragonite falls to the ground, defeated!
