:The legendary birds had most of their legendary crap in their dex entries. Remember, Gen I was where it was just starting; "legendary" meant little more than "special", one of a kind (or really rare) things. Now of course it means much more, and the birds are in their place with the rest of the trios, with their story kindasorta filled in by the anime.
