I asked this... wow, a little over seven years ago, and got no answer, but... are we sure that the guaranteed Pidgey is Shiny-locked? Near as I can tell, it was just randomly added to the trivia that it was Shiny-locked with no source to back it up, and I've never known anyone to actually look into this as far as I'm aware. I think I'm past the point of wanting to Shiny hunt it just for the novelty of being able to say I SR'd for a Shiny Pidgey, but I'd still like to know the truth one way or another, y'know? <small>- ''totally signed comment from [[User:Missingno.
