The trio hurry to Sinnoh and meet up with Dawn, who tells them how her Piplup was abducted by a girl who looked exactly like her. After looking into the matter, the group learns that the Pokémon are being kidnapped by mysterious holes of light called gates and may have something to do with the two Legendary Pokémon, Dialga and Palkia.
