:::Ah right, I keep forgetting about the lack of National Dex for SM and/or that Furfrou wasn't in the local dex... So I guess that won't do anything for Bank's Dex then and Furfrou's extra shiny forms won't be on a dex. I'll continue this over to the Form differences page. ::::While it's true that Pokémon Sun and Moon don't have a National Pokédex with which to view this information, these games will still record every species and form of Pokémon that the player has seen or caught in them. I know this because then those species and forms will be registered in Pokémon Bank's National Pokédex (and in other places, like they'll show up on the GTS). Essentially, Sun and Moon still have a "National Pokédex" that registers Pokémon, but it's just invisible and virtually impalpable to the player. | |||
::::In fact, I can personally verify that in Sun and Moon, the Shiny variants of every one of Furfrou's forms can be recorded. I used some QR Codes a while back to register them as "seen" in Moon, and when I updated it with Pokémon Bank, the Shiny variants were there, clear as day, in the Bank's Pokédex. So, I can't speak for anything before Generation VII, but Furfrou's forms ARE registered in Sun and Moon's invisible National Pokédex. | |||
