Applying mulch or planting a berry is done by selecting a empty mound of soft soil, and then pressing the A button. If a berry is planted with or without mulch, it is immediately able to be watered. Dry mounds with a berry planted in them may be watered individually, or watered in rows by pressing left or right on the direction pad. The Player is not restricted to one direction, and may choose to begin watering in the opposite direction at any time. Mounds that have not been planted, or whom have already been watered will simply be skipped over, and the next dry mound attended to instead. A mound will continuously be watered until the Player presses A, B, or ↑ on the directional pad. When weeds have sprouted on the mound, they however must be individually taken care of, with the player having to walk to and then select each effected mound. | |||
