:We definitely cannot use anime as a reliable source due to the inconsistencies of Pokémon name (Such as Raikou and Misdreavus). ::I believe we used to have a pronunciation section in the infobox, but it was removed due to conflicting sources. For example, the [[Kanto Pokérap|PokéRAP]] calls Venusaur (I will use ^ above a vowel for short vowel sounds, and _ above it for long) Vênûsor, while "Island of the Giant Pokémon" calls it Vēnûsor.
