::::::The guidebook also refers to a Pokémon's base stats (what we once called base stats) as "the strengths of its species" (also referring to IVs as "the strengths of the individual" but let's get this naming fiasco done one at a time). Perhaps "Species strengths" is also a possibility? Keeping it as base stats (fan term) is only going to cause confusion.
