| ===Marco===
| |
| Meet Marco. He's an NPC (I think). Found in RSE.
| |
|
| |
| He boasts a 15.7' Shroomish and Barboach.
| |
|
| |
| Due to no possible access to Sootopolis other than Dive and Surf or Fly (in which case all 3 are needed), he has at least one Flying and/or Water. That means he also has the badges for Dive (Badge 7), Surf (Badge 5), and possibly Fly (which is highly likely: badge 6). Of course all this is nonsense if he lives in Sootopolis all this time and knows other people to trade with.

| ==Pokégear==
| |
| ===Pokémon Adventures===
| |
| The Pokégear has appeared very often in the Pokémon Adventures manga, being one of the major forms of communication since its debut in the Gold, Silver & Crystal. It seems to be the equivalent of the cellphone in the real world. As in the games, the Pokégear also has a Map Card. Characters such as Misty, Volkner, and Flint are seen possessing one. The Pokégear played a large role in the development of the Masked Man; this gadget was used to send signals to his Pokémon so that Pryce and his alter ego could be in "two places at one time."
