::I think he/she meant the first of Ash's traveling companions in Unova to catch a Pokemon not native to Unova/pre-Gen V Pokemon (Dragonite, obviously, and Pikachu and Meowth don't count for obvious reasons). Personally, I say why not, especially since it's already noted on Dragonite's page. For a subpoint, we could also say that it's the very first psuedo-legendary obtained by a main character in its final evolved form.
