There are a number of things to do here:
*In town, you'll learn of trouble involving a local scientist named [[Professor Cozmo]] who is being mislead by [[Team Magma]], so you'll have to save him at [[Meteor Falls]] to the west.
*Before leaving town, head to the [[Pokémon Center]] to meet a woman named [[Lanette]] who handles the PC [[Pokémon Storage System]] for the Hoenn region. She is standing in front of the PC. She asks you to visit her at her house on {{rt|114|Hoenn}}.
*You can also find the [[Move Relearner]] here. In exchange for a [[Heart Scale]], he can help your Pokémon relearn a move from their level-up moveset that may have been forgotten.

So! Again you will use three of your own Pokémon in three battles! You see, no one can switch Pokémon. The Pokémon each have three turns to attack and try to KO their opponent.
If, at the end of three turns, no Pokémon have fainted, then the judge will determine the score your Pokémon will receive,
*Circle (win - 2 points),
*Triangle (tie - 1 point), or
*X (lose - 0 points),
based on three different categories,
*Mind (amount of offensive moves),
*Skill (accuracy), and
*Body (remaining HP).
The Pokémon with the lowest total points after three turns faints, another Pokémon substitutes, and the process starts again. (The Skill category is not affected if a move misses as a result of a damage blocking attack such as {{m|Detect}} and {{m|Protect}}.) Win three battles in a row and you will recieve a {{DL|Potion|Hyper Potion}}.
When you're finished in town, head west to {{rt|114|Hoenn}} and [[Meteor Falls]].
