Kingambit (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Kingambit may be based on a {{wp|samurai}} and a {{wp|shogun}} or {{wp|daimyo}}. It gives an appearance as if it is sitting on a {{wp|throne}}; specifically, the black and red motif is reminiscent of the {{wp|Chrysanthemum Throne}}. Kingambit also vaguely resembles a {{wp|rhinoceros beetle}}: its hair, the blade on its head, and the curved blades on its waist resemble the beetle's carapace, horn, and legs, respectively; and its prostrating stance before attacking opponents with its blade is similar to how rhinoceros beetles fight each other.
