:: I'll give you some directions, since that'll be a bit more easier. First, go to the part of the route close to the entrance to Virbank city. Then, go down to the river nearby and surf. Now, instead of surfing down like you usually would to go to the Cave of being, go a bit right, and then go up until you hit a rock and cannot go further. You'll find 3 rocks in a horizontal line, and the cave I was telling you about. Hope this helps you. Don't hesitate to ask if there's a problem.
