:so...you are AGAINST rewarding people for hard work? that just seems downright hilarious to me. "good job on winning this 5km marathon Jane Doe, but we dont want anyone else to feel pressured into doing better, so there is no prize." thats pretty much what youre telling me, and i find it humerous. some people look at the TCotM and say "i would like to do my part on improving this site, so i can make that list" and there are others who dont care about the list, and only care about doing a good job where and when they can. both of these types of users are welcomed and appreciated by the site, but youre basically saying "look at those people who wasted their time editing this site" and frankly, that borders on offending all the editors of this site, and even me, and im not easy to offend. | |||
:i wanted to delete that tag, but that wouldnt be nice, and maybe a few other members of the site are as much a narcissist as you seem to be to go putting everyone else down, so i moved it into your namespace, which is where we put tags that no one really uses but said user. however, if you want to make a tag that isnt as belligerent, but says the same message, then yes, we can leave it in the mainspace, and it wouldnt be considered as a "meme" tag, which yours isnt anyway. your asexual tag is used by some people, but it isnt a user-specific tag, so you dont HAVE to use it. i made some state tags, but i dont live in all those states. | |||
:as for meme tags? memes are popular, so if people want to put them on their page, they will. and it seems a lot of people "leik" Mudkip, and anyone with the internet knows All Your Base, so i dont see the problem there. in fact, more people use the Mudkip meme tag, than the female gender tag. so if you can find enough people that downright '''hate''' the TCotM list, then sure, we can put your specific tag in as an official tag. but perhaps something a little less absurd would be better, like | |||
