:Forgot this was here.
:My point still stands that a talk page edit's status is dependent on the viewpoint; I don't see talk page edits as contributions to the wiki, but discussion (yes, often discussion ''about'' contributions, but rarely actual contributions in and of themselves). If I were to decide that I only needed to watch major edits, then I wouldn't want to have to sift through lots of tiny minor ones; I also probably wouldn't want to sift through tons of user, user talk, and talk page edits, either. I assume the same of other editors as well, which is why I mark my edits as minor all the time, especially those to my own userspace, and talk page edits. (unless someone is actually talking with me, like here, then they generally don't ''need'' to see every edit I make.)
:...that is, of course, assuming that anyone does actually disable minor edits in their watchlist. I personally never do; vandals don't care about how big their edit was, and even tiny edits can be wrong, so I treat them all the same. It's just how I look at such things. --[[user:Jioruji_Derako|<font color="#237d00"> '''J'''ïörüjï '''Ð'''ērākō.'''>'''</font>]]<small>[[user talk:Jioruji Derako|<font color="#237d00">''.cнаt'''''^'''</font>]]</small> 23:51, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
