The article doesn't mention the maximum number of orbs you can have buried at once. I don't know the exact number, but buried orbs disappear to keep up with this number. I.e., if the limit's 50, and you bury one more, then the one you buried longest ago disappears. I don't know if this counts spawned or buried traps either.
