Rhydon starts to leave, but Pietra, still determined to capture Rhydon, clings to its neck until it battles her. Rhydon ends up diving underwater to try and shake her. Despite its underwater antics, Pietra doesn't let Rhydon go and hangs on. Sensing her determination, Rhydon eventually resurfaces and takes an exhausted Pietra to shore before leaving.
