It is automatically unlocked after clearing [[Pitfall Valley]] and obtaining the [[Sky-Blue Plains|Sky Blue Plains]] Friend Area from an optional mission. 

Unlike [[Silver Trench|the]] [[Western Cave|other]] [[Buried Relic|99]] [[Wish Cave|floor]] [[Purity Forest|dungeons]], there are no Legendary Pokémon anywhere in the tower. However, it is home to some rare Pokémon, most notably {{p|Chansey}}. Several Pokémon that were options for the [[Hero Pokémon|hero]] or [[Partner Pokémon (Mystery Dungeon)|partner]] Pokémon can only be recruited here.
